The best headline ever is surely from The Economist's obituary of Zimbabwe's first president. It read:
"Canaan Banana, clergyman, politician and rapist"
My favorite is from years ago, the New Brunswick poloitician who found himself in hot water:
Neary says he plans to think about resigning.
I was living in Scotland when Caledonian Thistle staged a huge upset over Celtic in the Scottish Cup, leading to The Sun's fabulous headline:
"Super Caley go ballistic, Celtic are atrocious"
