Here is a fatuous letter to the editor, published in the Princeton Alumni Weekly.
The author claims "Life is like a great stage. Besides myriad performers, there are two principal ones. The crucial choice in life is how to specify them as to their order and manner of spelling. One choice is “Me, god.” The other is “God, me.” My theory is that this choice determines one’s choice of ethics."
But what if your choice is "Family, students, friends, colleagues, neighbors, and me" and "god" doesn't even figure at all?
If you're god-soaked, you think everyone else spends all their time thinking about your god. But you're wrong.

Comic indeed!
I hear you, I think of my brother as a musloholic. We need an intervention.
Amen! (meant in the atheist sense of the word... if there is one)
I think "me, god", "god, me" and your ordering all means the same if one were to see the unity in all of these.
On a related note, I believe, both the theist and the atheist are one and the same - theist believes in something he does not know - atheist does not believe in something he does not know - the bottom line being individuals making a decision on something they do not know.
Mr 2 cents will next be telling us that "atheist" is just an alternative spelling of "a theist" :-)
You know, it's also impossible to prove that Voodoo isn't true.
So are you the same as a voodoo practitioner? I mean they believe in something they don't know, and you don't believe in something you don't know.
All the same I guess...
Decision doesn't come into it: either I buy it, or I don't. And, in the case of gods, spirits, unicorns and the female orgasm*, I just don't buy it.
* I am kidding.
