Graffiti Limbo

This is just a small portion of an amazing collection of graffiti, spotted in an American city. For points, identify

the city,

the subway from which you can see it, and

the name of the location.

Is that the Brooklyn Bridge peeking over rooftops on the right?

Also, *which* "small" amazing graffito? I see nothing but graffiti.
To me, the most interesting one is the May 21, 2011 date -- a disciple of Harold Camping?

Eamon, I rewrote it to make it clear what I meant - which is that the photo shows only a small portion of what is there.

You're right, it is NYC. Now, how about the subway line and the name of the place?

Manhattan bridge in background, Biggie Smalls in foreground. I'm guessing, Brooklyn, NY. Bedford-Stuyvesant. As for the subway, I'll take a guess that it is the Franklin Shuttle.

Sorry, I don't know NYC at all (I've been there exactly once, for two days, and spent the whole time in Manhattan). Beyond noting that the picture is taken from the Brooklyn side looking towards Manhattan, I have nothing to say. Some more time with Google Maps would maybe get it, but I don't think that's what you're asking for....

That's the Queensboro Bridge (aka 59th Street Bridge) in the background. We must be somewhere like Queens Plaza or Queensboro Plaza or Court House Square.

Yup, you got it, Queens.

I thought I recognized it as NYC, I visit some friends sometimes in Sunnyside so I feel like it is either between Sunnyside and Manhattan or maybe where I get off the bus...somewhere in Chinatown? But I don't know my way around at all, or even where I've been really. Funny though, I suspect I have some not-quite-pleasing photos of a huge wall of graffiti visible from the train right near there (I'm guessing), and I also happen to have a MTA New York City Subway map on my wall above my computer... but I've never been bothered to pay attention to where we are.

So I had to go find and them:

I think my last shot is orthogonal to yours...
I cheated and asked my friend: 7 train, between Queensborough Plaza & 45 Road-Court House Square?

Story about and many more pictures of (what I assume is) the same place at http://queens.about.com/od/thingtodo/ss/lic_art_2.htm

Yup, it's the number 7 train, and it's a place called "Five Pointz".

Unfortunately, Five Pointz is set to be demolished - It is to be replaced with luxury condos and a high-end shopping mall.

If you're in the NYC area and there's any way you can get to this before it's gone, it's something you will be glad to have seen with your own eyes.

I see this every day on the Manhattan-bound 7 train! It is very cool...

Sad to hear they're re-developing it. It's definitely a work of art, and interesting with the skyline and everything.
