The even is funny but they should know better than to give food to a wild animal! That's how they get used to follow tourist, and later potentially aggressive with them when hungry :(
On a lighter note, we have some mooses here in Chile too. They are not as wild as the Canadian ones: they are software programming engineers (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moose_%28Perl%29)!
