I Definitely Do Not Recommend This "Book" About Me

On ebay, for only $86.08 you can buy this "book" about me. But I don't recommend it.

This is the usual scam where someone advertises a book that consists of nothing but reprints from freely-available web pages, and then prints a book on demand if someone is stupid enough to buy it.

The same "author" has written 6000 other books.

That's a great bargain. I save $25.00.

Then, on the other hand, I can save an additional $86.08 by not buying the book at all. So that's what I'll do.

I suppose that there really are some people foolish enough to fall for these scams.

To give them the smallest shred of credit, the product description begins with "Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online." Still ... a rather ridiculous "product".

One day, you're going to have to tell us the story of how you ended up with the epic middle name "Outlaw".

There is nothing exciting or epic about it at all; it is just my mother's maiden name, and a fairly common surname in North Carolina.

I see from the title of the book that not only are you a "computer scientist" but you are also a "number theory" and an "intelligent design." :)

I saved $250 by ordering 10 copies!

But isn't that a fraud? You appear to be co-author of Wade Anastasia Jere whom, probably, you don't even know.

The list of other recommendations at the bottom of the page (for me) included Proof of Heaven and Exposing Satan's Playbook.

It's a little fascinating to me that someone actually goes through the effort to pull off such scams. Granted, it's a relatively easy setup, it's just kind of weird it exists outside someone's humored imagination.
