Alice Walker is Bonkers

From Jonathan Kay in the National Post, we learn that writer Alice Walker is a lunatic, apparently having bought into David Icke's claim that "Earth is secretly controlled by giant inter-dimensional lizards who have taken human form".

Icke is also an anti-Semite, claiming that the Protocols of the Elders of Zion are genuine. Walker herself apparently refuses to allow her book The Color Purple be translated into Hebrew.

I used to teach one of Walker's stories. If I recall, she was once married to a Jewish (and white) man.

(A wikipedia search confirms this. He was also a, a, a lawyer!)

Gotta go rent the documentary about Walker's life, aptly (cough) named Beauty in Truth.

"Earth is secretly controlled by giant inter-dimensional lizards who have taken human form"?

That's a false flag operation run by the International Jewish Conspiracy out of the Vatican.

I've often thought that the way to deal with conspiracists is to tell them all their "evidence" was itself manufactured by a global conspiracy, even more sinister than they can imagine.

Of course, the real conspiracy is trying to make conspiracy theories all look ridiculous.

Speaking of lunaitcs, do you keep up with what Warren is spewing at his new niche site in the backwaters of the WWW? Today's is a real cracker filled with his classic ignorance ("US oil exports have overtaken imports" - Warren research at its finest and "I haven’t the slightest objection to oil drilling, per se; nor burning off the product in the hope of contributing to a warmer, more carbon-rich atmosphere, that will benefit the world’s farms, gardens, & forests." Well, what can we say other than, at least his audience is so small it really doesn't matter what the fool says. I just wonder where they come from??

I THOUGHT I was developing a strange appetite for small insects. My lizard overlords explain that.
