Do Not Approach the Goose
It's springtime here in Canada. Do not approach the goose.
The place I used to work (a suburban tech campus) was infested with huge numbers of Canada geese. I once got faced down by a gander with goslings to protect -- spread wings, loud honking, the whole display.
We seem to get these guys visiting in the winter and spring (in Scotland). One recent encounter was really friendly. He (or she) was eating from my hand.

ReplyDeleteIf the Canada geese are back in Canada for Spring, why are there still so many in the SF Bay Area? (I know I'm not the first to ask.)
